Museums of Sitges
The Maricel artistic and monumental complex, built between 1910 and 1918, is one of the first and greatest examples of Noucentisme and is located in the very heart of Sitges. It consists of the Maricel Palace, the Maricel Museum, the Cau Ferrat Museum and Can Rocamora. The complex is an ideal setting for small events with a distinctive local and cultural flavor.
The Maricel Palace is one of the most emblematic buildings in Sitges. The Gold Room, the Blue Room, the Chapel Room, the Boat Room, the terraces or the cloister, where you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the Mediterranean. These are the main spaces for hosting events that will make your meeting a living experience that will make all the difference.
The Cau Ferrat Museum and the Maricel Museum have a breathtaking location facing the sea and comprise the artist Santiago Rusiñol’s home-atelier, which was the temple of Modernisme. The Maricel Museum offers a complete artistic journey from the 10th to the 20th century, with masterpieces of the highest quality. The Stämpfli Foundation houses one of the most important contemporary art collections in Catalonia.
