The first winner of the #SitgesMICEFan contest, Sweden’s Sabina Jonsson from Sabina Consulting, an agency specializing in MICE, enjoyed a stay in Sitges.

We welcomed Sabina Jonsson, the first of the winners of the Sitges Convention Bureau’s “SitgesMICEFan” Contest, to Sitges from July 2nd to the 4th. This is her testimony:

Sabina is the CEO of Sabina Consulting, an agency specializing in Meetings, Conventions and Incentives based in Sweden, and she and her partner were able to enjoy a stay in Sitges to personally experience the destination and see event venues such as Melia Sitges, Dolce Sitges, MiM Sitges, La Taberna del Puerto Restaurant, Sitges Museums or Naval Tours’ Fast Ferry, accompanied by the Sitges CB and its associate members.

This past April, the Sitges Convention Bureau organized a contest for MICE sector professionals, asking for a video explaining their experience in Sitges as event organizers, a description of Sitges in three words: a color, an adjective and a value, and explaining why. Sabina Jonsson proposed the rainbow, diversity and free.

The contest rewarded seven other winners (three Spanish, two French, one Belgian and one North American respectively). The 8 announced winners will be able to enjoy a 2-night stay for 2 people at a Sitges CB associate member hotel, 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 2 dinners and a variety of activities, stimulating prizes for them to experience Sitges and delight their 6 senses.

Additionally, on June 29th, we also welcomed Sina Bünte to Sitges, expert in tech & events, founder of Digital Minds Events and the SheSharp community.

This promotion is part of the reACT MICE campaign in Catalonia, an initiative promoted by the Catalonia Convention Bureau that aims to show the reactivation and transformation of MICE services and to demonstrate that we are a high-tech and sustainable destination.
