Codorníu has launched ‘The Memory of the Bubble. 475 Years of Stories and Anecdotes from Codorníu’, a new premium guided tour where you can discover spaces and documents from the oldest winery in Spain and the creator of cava that have never before been shared.
The activity tours through six iconic spaces in the Codorníu complex, which has been declared a National Historic-Artistic Monument and an Asset of National Cultural Interest. The highlights of the tour include a stop in the Jaume winery, where Josep Raventós made the first bottle of cava in 1872, and it includes a tasting of Codorníu Non Plus Ultra, an iconic cava with 129 years of history. The experience continues with a mini-train ride through its impressive underground caves, with 30 kilometres of galleries built in the late nineteenth century.
For the MICE sector, this experience merges history, heritage, wine tourism and authenticity in an ideal format for incentive programmes, cultural activities or networking events with added value. It’s a different way to connect teams and discover a unique story with more than four centuries of winemaking memory.
