We welcomed two different fam-trips with a total of 15 professionals specialized in MICE and 4 journalists, who were able to discover the destination, thanks to the Sitges CB and its associate members. One organized by the CCB as part of the MEETCatalunya Forum and the other for the Nordic market, organized by the Swedish OTS.

The Sitges CB participated in #MEETCATALUNYA, an event organized by the Catalunya Convention Bureau, which welcomed more than 60 European event organizers. 10 of them plus 4 specialized journalists extended their stay in Sitges and experienced the destination up close and personally, guided by the Sitges CB and its associate members, and were able to enjoy event venues including the Hotel Calipolis, Dolce Sitges, ME Sitges Terramar, MiM Sitges, Clos La Plana, the Maricel Palace, PicNic Restaurant, La Taberna del Puerto, the CIM and the Terramar Racetrack riding in cars provided by Grup Limo.

In late September we also welcomed a group of Norwegian meeting planners, organized by the Oslo OTS. During their stay in Sitges, the agents were able to experience the Festa Major, the town’s main annual festival, as well as its traditions, and visit venues including Dolce Sitges, Torre del Veguer Winery, Masia Vilanoveta, Finca Mas Solers, the CIM and the URH Sitges Hotel.
