Sitges Mice&More, Frequent Travelers

The MICE venues and hotels join in and offer sports activities, Zen, gastronomic or musical activities, especially during the summer, which, although they are designed for the general public, are inspirational and can be replicated for your meetings and incentives in Sitges.

Sitgestiu, the cultural program organized by Museus de Sitges, kicked off on July 3^rd with the guided visit ‘Capvespres de la lluna plena’ (Full moon evenings) a tour of the Maricel complex to see and get to know the venue like never before. After that, a series of activities including music, sensory experiences, screenings and tastings.

Eurostars Sitges offers five Candlelight concerts under the stars. And on Thursday, they also feature live jazz sessions in their Malvasia Bar, while you savor the hotel’s cuisine and signature cocktails. In the Verema restaurant they also propose theme dinners and theme open-air barbecues accompanied by live music and DJs.

Meliá Sitges offers, every summer weekend, from 11am to 2pm,”Vermouth” at Saffron, the hotel’s Bistrot, with live music. It’s located next to the hotel’s swimming pool and in summer, you can also enjoy a variety of rice dishes and paellas and its menu featuring Mediterranean cuisine.

ME Sitges Terramar offers you different options to stay in shape including early morning Yoga sessions on the terrace overlooking the beach and the Sitges promenade, adapting the sessions for all levels and led by personal trainers. Or an outdoor spinning class, or any other personalized activity.

Hotel Calipolis has prepared live music sessions on the terrace for this summer, overlooking the sea and with free admission. Depending on the day you will find Catalan rumba, jazz, boleros or well-known DJs. On Saturdays, the hotel also offers à la carte barbecues and, as always, excellent cuisine in its Mirador restaurant.

Sabàtic Sitges Hotel offers live music with local artists and DJ’s, meditations with electronic music, Pilates, Latin dance sessions and a more artistic dimension with flower or pottery workshops or even perfume samplings. Another highlight is the full moon ceremony, a ritual with yoga, meditation, bonfire and swimming in the pool with classical background music and under the moonlight.

Sunway Hotel in its Acqua Beach Club, offers activities on the beach including yoga or Zumba classes in the morning and live music in the afternoons. Additionally it celebrates the “Wine Festival”, in its Acqua Restaurant, where it offers a tapas buffet, with wine tasting on the terrace, DJ and incredible views of the sunset.

Grup Cal Blay offers, in their Modernist mansion Clos la Plana, just 10 minutes from Sitges, set among 10 hectares of vineyards and olive trees and surrounded by gardens, a “Pool Party” to refresh your ideas, especially designed for groups. Barbecues with show cooking or light menus based on salad buffets and healthy food.

Nootka Kayak & Sup has introduced as a new activity in Catalonia the Hawaiian Canoe. It’s a type of canoeing that combines fun, teamwork, accessibility and sustainability. It can be adapted for companies, either as an initiation, guided tours or in team building format.

Roccomotion Audiovisual, a Sitges-based production company specializing in audiovisual communication, has produced a photographic report on “Garraf: Trails, Heritage and Nature” for the Consell Comarcal del Garraf (Garraf Regional Council). A joint initiative of the Consell Comarcal, the Agència de Desenvolupament (Development Agency) and the Garraf region’s six town councils.
